Such is the philosophy and motivation of Los Angeles-based makeup artist April Ross.  Following more than a decade working with celebrity talent behind the scenes at record companies and in television, Ross took a life-long love of makeup and all things beauty, and turned it into a knack for helping commercial clients see their creative vision come to life, and everyday women look and feel beautiful.

Personally groomed under world-renowned educator and industry luminary Donna Mee, Ross received top-notch training at Empire Academy of Makeup, where she mastered techniques in the areas of print, runway, event, bridal, and corrective makeup.

Complexion perfection, makeup that highlights what’s unique and beautiful about each person’s features, and looks designed for exactly what’s needed for the assignment or occasion, are Ross’ calling cards.. “My aim and guarantee is that talent will leave my chair with the creative vision fully realized, and as my private client, you’ll turn to the mirror and be delighted to see your best you looking back at you.”

Ross lives in Los Angeles with her writer husband and their teenage black belt and artist son.
